Product Introduction
3M™ Fiberglass Matting Adhesive (3M™ 08277) is a high-performance, low-viscosity, two-component urethane adhesive. Its primary design function is to fully saturate fiberglass cloth or mat during the preparation of backup reinforcement patches, particularly for Sheet Molded Compound (SMC) and Fiber Reinforced Polyester (FRP) repairs. This adhesive is also an effective solution for filling cracks, channels, and other narrow areas where applying a traditional adhesive bead is difficult. It offers a work time of approximately 10 minutes and is sandable after a 45-minute cure time at 73°F (23°C).
