3M Heat Resistive Polyimide Tape 7414

The 7414 version of 3M Heat Resistive Polyimide Tape is a single-coated tape designed for high-temperature applications. It consists of a 0.025 mm polyimide film backing and acrylic adhesive.

KEY FEATURES

• Very low coefficient of friction with self-lubricating characteristics
• Adhesive applied on back side shows strong adhesion to metals and plastics
• Leaves virtually no silicone residue

Masking or protecting residue-sensitive areas on printed circuit boards during high-temperature operations such as wave soldering and solder reflow.
