The 3M Non-Conductive High Shear Pressure Sensitive Cover Tape 2658 is a clear tape made of polyester film that is not conductive. It has a strip of synthetic adhesive along each edge that works at room temperature. This tape is specifically created to seal electrical and electronic components into 3M’s polycarbonate carriers. Additionally, it is compatible with some other embossed carrier tapes.
