3M Scotch® Heavy Duty Rubber Electrical Tape 70 HDT
Scotch® Tape 70 HDT is a 20 mil thick, self-fusing, premium electrical tape with silicone rubber backing. It is engineered for high-temperature resistance, arc protection, and long-lasting outdoor use in high-voltage cable systems.
Scotch® Tape 70 HDT Features:
- Class H (180°C) rated for high heat resistance
- Triangular profile with guideline for half-lap wrapping
- Excellent weathering, arc, and ozone resistance
- Self-fusing with excellent conformability
Scotch® Tape 70 HDT Applications:
- Overwrap for high-voltage cables (e.g., EPDM, butyl)
- Base insulation in re-enterable joints
