3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 191XS is a thermosetting modified epoxy adhesive film engineered for long-term durability in bonding metal and composite solid panels. Its key differentiating feature is an integrated lightweight conductive screen, which provides robust lightning strike protection and composite surfacing capabilities. This adhesive delivers excellent performance at elevated temperatures and exhibits superior pre-bond humidity performance on composite substrates. Designed to cure at 350°F (175°C), AF 191XS offers process flexibility with a curing range from 275°F (135°C) up to 350°F (175°C). It combines high fracture toughness with excellent peel strength, making it an ideal choice for creating strong, lightweight, and resilient structures in demanding environments.
