Product Introduction
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 1838L is a two-part, flowable translucent adhesive engineered to create rigid, high-strength bonds. Its low-viscosity formula allows the adhesive to flow easily for precise and thorough application, making it an excellent choice for projects requiring a durable bond on metals, woods, and some plastics. This epoxy provides high shear strength for superior dead load holding. It features a 1:1 mix ratio and a long 60-minute work life, giving users extra time to adjust and position parts. It cures at room temperature, reaching handling strength in approximately 8 hours and a full cure in 7 days, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting bond.
