3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP405 is a black, toughened, two-part structural epoxy designed for excellent strength, high impact resistance, and superior fatigue resistance. A key feature is its ability to withstand paint bake operations up to 400°F (204°C) for 60 minutes, maintaining its bond integrity. This adhesive cures at room temperature and offers a fast 5-minute work life, reaching handling strength in approximately 15 minutes. It is an effective solution for replacing mechanical fasteners in a variety of demanding industrial applications.
