Product Introduction
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-3501 B/A (3M™ CA50) is a two-part epoxy engineered for fast curing at room temperature, creating a tough and durable bond. Its thixotropic (thick) consistency provides controlled, non-sag flow, making it ideal for filling pinholes and surface imperfections in composite materials prior to painting. This versatile adhesive, which has a 1:1 mix ratio, is also effective on metals and many plastics. It offers a 5-10 minute work life, reaches handling strength in 90-120 minutes, and achieves a full cure in 8 hours at 75°F (24°C).
