3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive EC-3964 is a high-performance, sprayable adhesive engineered specifically for aerospace applications. As a solution version of 3M™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 147, it is designed for bonding screen-in-sound suppression panels on aircraft engine nacelles. This adhesive delivers outstanding bond strength across a wide service temperature range of -67°F to 300°F (-55°C to 150°C), maintaining typical overlap shear strength of 4700 psi at both -67°F and 75°F. Curing at 350°F (175°C), it can be sprayed directly onto screens without clogging holes, ensuring an efficient application process. It provides superior performance for both metal-to-metal and metal-to-honeycomb structures.
