3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive EC-9356 B/A FST is a two-part, fast-curing epoxy paste adhesive engineered for bonding common aircraft interior materials. It effectively bonds metals, advanced thermoplastics like PEI and PEEK, thermosets, and composites. This adhesive’s thixotropic, non-sag formula makes it perfect for vertical applications without generating excessive heat during its cure. Designed specifically for aerospace interiors, EC-9356 B/A FST is formulated without halogens or antimony, ensuring compliance with the latest FST (flame, smoke, toxicity) standards, including FAR/JAR/CS 25.853(a) and Airbus ABD0031. It achieves handling strength in just 2 hours at room temperature and offers convenient room temperature storage, making it a reliable and efficient solution for critical aerospace assemblies.
