Product Introduction
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 126 is a family of thermosetting modified epoxy adhesives designed for bonding metal and composite solid panels and honeycomb sandwich structures. This film is distinguished by its moderate peel strength, high tack for excellent shop handling, and its ability to be cured out-of-autoclave using a vacuum bag process. While designed for a 250°F (120°C) cure, it offers a wide processing window from 180°F (80°C) to 350°F (175°C). AF 126 provides a reliable, long-term bond with high fracture toughness and maintains its strength in service temperatures from -67°F to 180°F (-55°C to 80°C), making it a versatile and cost-effective choice for various aerospace applications.
