3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 131-2 is a modified epoxy adhesive film designed for high-performance, long-term durability in metal and composite bonding. Featuring a glass cloth carrier for enhanced structural support, this tan-colored adhesive is ideal for solid panel and honeycomb sandwich construction. It cures at 350°F (175°C) and provides excellent elevated temperature performance, maintaining high bond strength at temperatures up to 450°F (232°C). Engineered to meet demanding aerospace manufacturing requirements, AF 131-2 offers high fracture toughness and peel strength across a wide service temperature range from -67°F (-55°C) to 450°F (232°C). This heat-curing, easy-to-handle film is perfect for bonding honeycomb and metal-to-metal components where high strength in challenging, high-temperature environments is critical.
