3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 147 is a high-strength, thermosetting modified epoxy film designed for bonding honeycomb and metal-to-metal components. It excels in applications requiring high strength at elevated temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). A key advantage of AF 147 is its higher metal-to-metal peel strength compared to similar adhesives like 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ AF 143. This film provides excellent performance across a service temperature range of -67°F to 300°F (-55°C to 149°C). Compatible with select 3M primers, it enables robust structural bonds while reducing the need for mechanical fasteners, supporting the design of lighter and more durable assemblies.
