3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 163-2 is a family of thermosetting modified epoxy adhesives engineered for reliable, long-term bonding of metal, composite, and honeycomb structures. It is primarily designed for a 250°F (120°C) cure but offers exceptional process flexibility with a broad curing range from 180°F (80°C) to 300°F (150°C). This film is known for its high fracture toughness, excellent peel strength, and superior shop handling characteristics. Available in various weights, carriers, and an unsupported version for reticulation, AF 163-2 is a versatile solution that delivers high bond strength from -67°F to 250°F (-55°C to 121°C), making it ideal for a wide range of aerospace applications.
