3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 191 is a thermosetting modified epoxy film engineered for high-temperature structural bonding of metal and composite panels and honeycomb sandwich constructions. While designed for a 350°F (175°C) cure, it offers process flexibility by curing at temperatures as low as 275°F (135°C). AF 191 is distinguished by its high fracture toughness, excellent peel strength, and superior performance at elevated temperatures. It is available in various forms, including an unsupported version for reticulation and an option with a lightweight conductive screen for lightning strike protection. The film maintains high bond strength from -67°F to 350°F (-55°C to 175°C), ensuring long-term durability in demanding aerospace environments.
