3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Epoxy Adhesive 7246-2 B/A FST is a two-part epoxy adhesive that creates strong, impact-resistant structural bonds with a room temperature or mild heat cure. It provides excellent adhesion to a wide array of substrates, including metals, ceramics, and plastics like GFRP and CFRP. Crucially, it meets key industry fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) requirements, making it a prime choice for aircraft interiors. The adhesive offers a generous 90-minute work life for positioning and a thixotropic, non-sag formula for clean, easy application. Engineered for honeycomb sandwich constructions, it simplifies FST compliance and can replace multiple adhesives, helping to streamline inventory and boost productivity.
