Product Introduction
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic Adhesive 8010 is a two-part acrylic adhesive specifically formulated to create structural bonds on many low surface energy (LSE) plastics like polypropylene and polyethylene without special surface treatments. Simply wiping the surface is often all that is needed. This adhesive has a medium viscosity for controlled, easy dispensing and also bonds well to metals, ceramics, and wood. With a 10-minute work life and the ability to reach handling strength in about an hour, it offers a fast and efficient bonding solution that can often replace mechanical fasteners, rivets, and spot welds in various applications.
