Product Introduction
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Toughened Epoxy Adhesive LSB360NS is a high-performance, non-sag, two-part toughened epoxy adhesive that provides outstanding shear adhesion and very high durability. It features a 10-hour work life and a 1:1 mix ratio, making it ideal for bulk applications through meter mix dispensing equipment and for the manufacture of large panel products, including honeycomb panels. This adhesive is toughened for heightened resistance against shock, vibration, and impact loads. It offers a non-sag formulation to ensure the adhesive remains in place during application. The adhesive features excellent long-term holding power and peel strength, allowing for reliable bonding even under demanding conditions. When using a Duo-Pak (DP) size, users can rely on 3M dispensing equipment for convenient and accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing. The adhesive enables efficient bonding of large structures by distributing stress uniformly across the entire bonded area, preserving the integrity of the surface and physical properties of the panel. It allows for the use of thinner, lighter materials without concerns of distortion, splitting, or crazing, while securing even small or thin bonding edges. It also bonds oily steel and galvanized metal effectively. This epoxy adhesive dispenses as a medium viscosity product for controlled and easy dispensing. It achieves handling strength in approximately 5 hours and fully cures within 7 days at 73°F (23°C). Its 90-minute work life provides ample time for positioning and adjustment prior to curing, making it ideal for large-scale applications.
