Chemask HV Solder Masking Agent CHV8 is a temporary, high viscosity, fast curing, peelable solder masking agent. It is a high temperature resistant compound that protects component-free areas during wave soldering. Chemask HV can be introduced to the wave solder preheat within 4 minutes without adverse effects. Chemask HV may be used
to protect pins, posts, contacts and edge connections during conformal coating processes.
FEATURES:
- Stable to 515°F (268°C)
- Compatible with rosin, no clean, water soluble fluxes and cleaning solvents
- Leaves no residue
- Ready for wave solder in 4 minutes
- Dries tack free in 15 minutes
- Non-contaminating
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Chemask HV Solder Masking Agent CHV8 protects:
- Component Free Areas for Soldering
- Components
- Pin Connectors During Soldering
- Temperature Sensitive Components During Wave Soldering
- Sockets
- Board Areas From Conformal Coating
