Devcon® Carbide Putty is a silicon carbide-filled epoxy putty designed to provide exceptional wear and abrasion resistance. Ideal for applications involving small particulates, this putty offers excellent protection in aggressive industrial environments, making it perfect for pipe elbows, pulverizers, slurry lines, and exhaust fans.
Devcon® Carbide Putty Features:
- Silicon carbide-filled for enhanced wear resistance
- Non-sagging and extremely wear-resistant
- Room temperature cure for convenience
- Handles particulate less than 1/16″ (1.6mm)
- Withstands continuous service temperatures up to 250°F
- Open time: 50 minutes
- Gap fill: 0.25″ – 1.5″+
