Elantas Zhuhaimanufactured Epoxylite 478 Thixo is a low-viscosity resin provided as a single-part impregnant, designed for use with uncatalyzed tapes. This resin closely resembles Epoxylite 477 but features a slightly higher viscosity and thixotropic properties. These properties enhance retention on loosely wound structures and improve surface build on enameled wire wound coils and taped apparatus.
