Product Introduction
The ELPECAST® Wepesil VU 4691 E series is highly elastic and easy to remove for repair. It offers dielectric properties that remain almost constant over a wide temperature and frequency range, with outstanding chemical and weather resistance. The material cures via addition crosslinking with very low heat development and very low shrinkage pressure. It is highly viscous, provides good thermal conductivity (approximately 0.7 W/mK), and can withstand short-term loading of up to 250 °C. Recommended auxiliary products include Adhesion promoter G 4660, sealing mastic EH 13.271, and cleaning agent R 13.780. Available in grey, this non-transparent material operates in a temperature range of -65 to +200 °C and has a soft (Shore A) hardness.
