Product Introduction
The ELPEGUARD® SL 1307 Family consists of solvent-containing or aqueous 1- and 2-pack ready-to-use systems with very good resistance against moisture and condensation, providing excellent corrosion protection for assembled PCBs (e.g. e-corrosion and migration). It features a typical dry layer thickness of less than 80 µm and is suitable for coating flexible circuits (“flex-to-install”). The coating can be soldered through for repair or removed mechanically using the blasting method. Coloured-transparent, opaque, or fluorescent adjustments allow simple checking of the coating layer for completeness under daylight or UV light (black light). Recommended auxiliary products include Cleaning agent R 5817, Cleaning agent R 5888 (for cleaning product carriers), and flow cups for determining viscosity (flow time) in accordance with DIN 53211. Based on acrylate resins (AR), it dries rapidly at room temperature and operates in a temperature range of -65 to +125/150 °C, meeting UL 94, UL 746E, IPC-CC-830, MIL-I-46058C, IEC 61086, and IEC 60664-3 standards.
