Silicone Potting
Silicone Potting Compound is typically differentiated into two primary types:
Addition Cure silicones are typically cured at elevated temperatures to accelerate the process and are sold as kit-matched products. They come in water-clear varieties and have a lower viscosity.
Condensation Cure silicones need moisture for curing and are commonly cured at room temperature. They do not encounter any cure inhibition issues and are not suitable for deep-section cures. Additionally, these products are not paired in kits.
