Thermal adhesive or called thermal conductive (heat-conducting) adhesive/ glue is the combination of strong bonding with robust thermal performance in a range of assemblies.
According to the chemical base, there are 4 main thermally conductive adhesive categories: Epoxy, Polyurethane, Modified Base, and Silicone.
With various chemical bases including epoxy resins, polyurethane resins, and silicone resins, thermal adhesive delivers two main functions:
- Thermal management purpose
- Contribute to mechanical strength in the limited areas
