VYLOSHOT® GM-962-B01 is a natural-colored, high-performance low-pressure molding material that provides a balanced combination of flexibility, mechanical strength, and excellent electrical insulation for advanced electronic encapsulation. Its low-pressure application protects delicate components during the molding process, while its low melt viscosity ensures stable and efficient processing. This material is designed to enable the creation of thinner, lighter, and more compact electronic modules. With strong adhesion to common substrates like FR-4 and PBT, VYLOSHOT® GM-962-B01 delivers robust and reliable protection for a wide variety of sensors, ECUs, and connectors.
VYLOSHOT® GM-962-B01 Features
- Employs a low-pressure molding process to prevent damage to sensitive electronics.
- Facilitates product miniaturization, thinner walls, and overall weight reduction.
- Uses resin in pellet form for easy handling and enables fast processing cycles.
- Has a low glass transition temperature of -70℃ and a Shore A hardness of 86.
- Offers a tensile strength of 5 MPa and a tensile elongation of 460%.
- Provides excellent electrical insulation with a volume resistivity of 2.30 × 1013 Ω·cm.
- Demonstrates strong adhesion with peel strengths exceeding 18 N/25mm on FR-4 and 15 N/25mm on PBT.
VYLOSHOT® GM-962-B01 Applications
- Used for encapsulating sensors such as seat belt, tire pressure, gas emission, door, weight, torque, and speed sensors.
- Provides protection for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), including power window controls.
