Its low melt viscosity ensures smooth and stable molding, making it ideal for creating thin-walled structures and achieving product miniaturization. The material’s flexibility, indicated by its Shore A hardness of 84, combines with good tensile strength and excellent electrical insulation to provide reliable protection for sensitive components. VYLOSHOT® T-60’s rapid processing cycles and ease of use in pellet form make it a superior alternative to traditional encapsulation methods for a wide range of automotive and electronic applications.
VYLOSHOT® T-60 Features
- Utilizes low pressure molding to protect sensitive electronic components.
- Enables product miniaturization and helps reduce the total volume of resin used.
- Is supplied in easy-to-handle pellets and allows for fast, in-line processing.
- Has a low melt viscosity of 200 dPa·s at 220°C for smooth and stable molding.
- Offers a Shore A hardness of 84 and a tensile elongation of 170%.
- Ensures excellent electrical insulation with a volume resistivity of 3.00 × 1014 Ω·cm.
- Provides strong adhesion with a shear strength of 2.4 MPa on FR-4 and 2.3 MPa on PBT.

- Used for encapsulating sensors such as seat belt, tire pressure, gas emission, door, weight, torque, and speed sensors.
- Provides protection for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), including power window controls.
