3M™ Water Contact Indicator Tape 5557NA is a 7.6 mil (193 micron) printable product that shows area specific, long lasting indication when contacted by water. When liquid containing water comes in contact with the product, the color rapidly changes from white to red.

FEATURES

• Film top layer is printable by thermal transfer, flexographic, and screen printing methods and offers improved ink receptivity
• The film top layer also provides protection from soiling and moisture during handling
• Paper backing is highly absorbent and transports water to show indications
• Total construction is rotary die cuttable and with no adhesive

APPLICATIONS

• Use as a water contact indicator in handheld or portable electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets and
  phablets, laptop computers and keyboards, wearable electronic devices, gaming and MP3 players, two-way
