The conformal coatings of the series ELPEGUARD SL 1305 AQ-ECO are colorless transparent, water-borne 1-pack conformal coatings for assembled printed circuit boards based on polyurethane resins (PUR), where the organic solvents have been almost completely substituted by water. They contain special water-borne binding agents that are dispersed in demineralized water. Merely a small portion of organic solvent (< 10 %) is required for the film formation of the protective coat. They neither contain free volatile isocyanate nor free isocyanate groups.
